Tucson Christian Church refers to the universal church, that is made up of all the true believers in the Tucson area, from many different fellowships. God's elect people living in Tucson.

Churches in America would look a great deal different today if we followed the Matthew 18 model of church discipline.  We know that it’s not popular these days to confront the issue of sin and false teaching when it is running rampant throughout the body of Christ. Tolerance is equated with Love and doctrinal error is accepted, as if it does not matter. But the Bible makes no exceptions when it tells us to deal with sin and false teachings in the body. Our gentle Jesus is a consuming fire when it comes to sin and false teachings.
God’s Word is paramount.
God has a change agenda for his people. Titus 2:11-15
We confess that in order to live a life in obedience to God one must know, understand and apply all that God has said in His Word.
So there begins a life long learning process to train your mind to think in God honoring ways. We inform the intellect, to influence the will, to implement actions.

There is a debate raging in many churches on what style of music should be used in worship. People advocate every type of music imaginable according to their own personal preferences.

We confess that personal preferences and personal enjoyment should never be the criteria on how we should worship God.
What has God said in His Word, what brings glory to God, are the only considerations.

We confess there should not be a performance component to the music that is used in worship, because it draws attention to the performer and away from the object of our worship.
We confess that the deceitful nature of sin frequently blinds a person to the sin in their own life that others may see more clearly.

We confess it is vital for the health of the Body that believers counsel, encourage, admonition and hold one another accountable to the Word of God.

We affirm that believers possessing love for the brethren and courage in the Lord, with humility and gentleness, must confront the erring brother or sister and we must, with humility and reflection, receive the instruction with gratitude, from one who cares for your soul.
